Should I wean her off pacifier? Is it ok to leave paci with her through the night?
She could sleep on her own without paci from birth till she began teething (around 6.5 months old). She refused other forms of teether but a paci and used it to ease her pain, which I support that becuase it is better than giving her medicine all the time. Now she is 8 months old and develop dependency to use paci for nap/ night time. I don’t like her to have it through the night, so I took it off after she fall asleep. However, I began to feel tired to replace her paci in the middle of the night. I try to wean it off last night but she cried bloody murder that I had to give her back. My question is should I try to wean her off paci now? (she may need it again next time when her new teeth cutting out). Another question is if I let her have paci through the night, would it cause the same affect as sending the baby to the crib with bottle? Thanks.
I would let her keep the pacifier. To much stress on her and you that is not good. To me, It’s not a big deal. An no, a bottle causes rot from the milkjuice,ect.
